These men served with the Captain Francisco Vazquez de Coronado. 
The expedition set out for New Mexico and Arizona but made it as far 
north as Kansas from 1540 to 1542. The men listed below along with 
about 800 Indians made the exploration.

Vazquez de Coronado, Francisco - From: Salamanca, Spain. Parents: Juan 
Vazquez de Coronado and Isabel de Lujan. He came to New Spain (Mexico) 
with the Viceroy Antonio de Mendoza in 1535. He married Beatriz de 
Estrada the daugher of Alonso de Estrada and granddaughter of King 
Ferdinand II of Spain. They had 5 children.
